Excellent performance of the APOLLO Smart Retractor for Open Access during a VATS - video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery. Both positioning and lung resection could be easily performed. Once again, APOLLO Open was convincing when used in thoracic surgery. 

The surgical team was particularly enthusiastic about:

• the easy handling
• the efficient smoke evacuation
• the integrated direct lighting
